Press Release Waterford Today: Carers Association & PJT
Staff from local insurance provider, PJT Insurance in Tramore, met recently with officials from the Carers Association in Waterford to formally give them their donation of 250 high-visibility jackets.
This is part for the sponsorship by PJT of the much-valued organisation and their growing links with charity and community groups in the city and county.
PJT Insurance bought the high-visibility jackets for the various fundraising activities of the carers, something which will be vital to the group in the coming months and years.
The donation by PJT, who recently opened their new offices in Tramore, comes as a welcome boost to the Carers Association who are in great need of funding in the current economic times.
PJT provide insurance to many charities themselves and see this as further supporting a great cause while building a partnership with the Carers Association.
The Carers Association represents family carers throughout the country and their office is based in Grattan Quay and anyone interested in contacting them can call Nuncie Murphy on 051 857 970 or visit http://www.carersireland.com/index.htm
